Why Nate Berkus Would Love My Blog

I’m not trying to sound arrogant or anything, but I truly think if Nate Berkus stumbled across my blog, he would love it (or at least the name) and here’s why...

In the September issue of Better Homes & Gardens, I was reading an article called Stylemaker Notebook. This article featured designers and their tips to help you personalize your home. That’s when I read, 

I was giddy to read that Nate Berkus and I have the same philosophy on home decorating! He perfectly summed up the meaning behind the name of this blog. The article finished with Nate’s tips for a personalized home including collect what you love. He said, “Your things tell a story- where you’ve been, who you’ve loved, where you hope to go. It’s those very things that bring meaning to our homes.” 

I couldn’t agree more, Nate!
