One of the very first furniture purchases Brad and I made was the Ikea Expedit bookcase.
Almost three years later and we still love it! Currently, we use it was a TV stand, but down the road we could easily use it as a desk by adding this desk attachment.
We also bought 4 baskets from Ikea to store DVDs, CDs, and games. Here’s a great site that provides alternative storage solutions for the Expedit bookcase.
I love how the bookshelf serves as a great source for storage and display! It just so happens two of my favorite bloggers also have Ikea expedit bookcases in their homes! Here are their pictures plus a few more I found very inspiring.
